About Lakeside Advocate Services Staff!

Lakeside Advocate Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit non-stock corporation, focused on providing top-notch guardianship services in the greater Fond Du Lac and surrounding areas.  The corporation has a 3-person Board of Directors to oversee the business and ensure that superior services are delivered to every client.

Lakeside Advocate Services is committed to delivering compassionate guardianship and fiduciary services, supporting vulnerable individuals with integrity and respect. Our mission is to protect the rights and well-being of those we serve, guided by a dedicated Board of Directors and a vision of community-centered support.

We will serve anyone with an intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, serious & persistent mental illness, degenerative brain disorders or any other type of condition facilitating the need of guardianship services regardless of type or severity of their disability. 

Executive Director: Christopher Klemme

  • Over 7 years of guardianship experience.
  • Proficient in completing and filing all required court documents to maintain transparency.
  • Facilitated multiple asset transfers to safeguard client assets per WI Stat Ch 54.19.
  • Provided support to multiple law enforcement investigations involving the financial exploitation of clients by relatives or known associates.
  • Engaged in numerous meetings and discussions to oversee and support a high-quality independent lifestyle, while ensuring the client’s safety and maintaining a secure environment.
  • Past President and Vice-President of the Wisconsin Guardianship Association.
